Lots of fun

"These backcountry poles are a lot of fun. They have a good usable swing to them. They lock in and dont move. Sometimes the baskets can feel a little heavy when holding them behind. Id say there are little vibrations up the poles when I plant on hard surfaces."

awesome!

Favorite Poles -- ALTHOUGH collapsing lower part after 3 months only

"I use my poles like Xcountry skiing. I pull myself along and up steep hills for hours every day with my two husky-somethings providing excellent companionship. My complaint - one pole continues to slip and needs continuous adjustment to get back to its set height. Also, I go through the bottom part of the poles very quickly and need replacements often when the spiky part of the shaft crumbles. Alas, no replacements have been available for months meaning I have to buy a new pair!!!!! This really sucks. So a great hiking support is this, but I need replacements available to keep me going."

Hot Garbage

"I purchased a pair of these after my trusty old Razor carbons had enough. I skied on these for about 5 days, and the top of the handle just ripped right out of the shaft. Seems like BDs quality is slipping. Also, submitting a claim for warranty now takes from 3-6 weeks for BD to get back to you. Looks like I’ll be heading to a local show for an orphan for the time being. Not really worth the price tag associated with these poles."
