This pole is compact and packable when not in use, and the extended foam grip allows for a range of hand positions, depending on terrain. With FlickLock locking mechanisms, three aluminum sections, and a girth-hitched strap, the Expedition 3 is ideal for any backcountry traveler. Extended EVA foam grips, a straight-edge grip scraper, and a tactile rubber “beak” for quick binding adjustments on the skin track all contribute to the simple yet useful feature-set of the newly redesigned Expedition grips.
