"Waited for these to wear out to write a review. I’ve used these almost exclusively for 5 years for backcountry skiing, snowmobiling, ice climbing , mixed climbing and general rope work. They held up generally well given the use they’ve seen and have become my favorite winter gloves. They were quick to form and mold to my hands and become very comfortable with great dexterity. They held out water well over the first few years until I slowly wore holes in them. I did make sure I re applied nikwax or other types of leather conditioner and repellant every season. These were great gloves for all uses. I run fairly warm and these were great for my normal temperatures while moving uphill while skiing, and moving vertically on ice pitches. They are not the warmest for standing around or at a belay but were good enough for me down to about 5 or 10 degree F. Any lower than that and I swapped to my mitts. Overall very happy with these and sad to retire my first pair but luckily I just purchased a second pair to start breaking in this week. Was hoping to post some photos of the 5 year old ones because they are quite a sight! But can’t seem to find photo option on the reviews."
