Reviewers love how light these are and how the colors match Black Diamond cams, using them mainly to rack cams and trad gear, build alpine draws and cut weight on expeditions. Many find the size fine even with big fingers, though about ten found them too small to handle easily, especially with gloves, large hands or when clipping rope. One noted the paint wears off against rock.

"I love these lightweight carabiners and how well they match the bd cams."
"Great wire gate carabiners! They are the perfect size for racking cams."
"Used these to cut weight on our Denali expedition. Highly recommend, a little bit of a struggle for me with my big mitts, but when I flipped to gloves, I was golden."
"awesome mini wire carabiners are primarily for climbing but equally useful for device retention, hanging loads, hammock research and in general EVERYTHING you haven't had the chance to think of. Dont waste your time with copycat inferior wire carabiners w/ sus load values. Trust BD for all your cherished hangs"
"They are pretty small, pretty light, and keep me off the ground. I like em"
"Good product, used for racking cams."
"Simple organization enables better efficiency on and off the rock. Locate your gear easier with color coding and color matching. If you have BD cams, this matching rackpack set is (almost) a requirement."
"Use these on my rack as well as on my keys, doggie leashes etc. Functional, strong, light"
"I use these for alpine draws, with trad climbing. They are great. No complaints."
"I bought these carabiners specifically for Alpine and multipitch climbing application, and I’m very satisfied with them. They are among the lightest weight carabiners, and their smaller size reduces the bulk of what I have to carry. They handle very easily, and, even in cooler temperatures, I’ve never had problems with managing the gates."
