"The instructions are hopeless. It says you need to unlock the battery chamber by pushing the two buttons but it does not work if there are no batteries in it. And there are no batteries when you first buy this product. Someone at Black Diamond is not paying attention. If it is operator error (which is always a possibility) I have passed around to two others to see if they could figure it out. They couldn’t. Stuck!!"
"Used this on a recent backpack trip where fires were not allowed. It provided great light for making dinner as night comes early in the winter. It also provide a nice ambiance for some after dinner chat and beverages with the campfire mode. Great product."
