Awesome!

"Excellent quality. Really impressed with these crampons. The adjustment system is great, especially for smaller feet — they fit my boots perfectly and feel very secure. Super happy with the quality and overall fit. Can’t wait to take them out on the slopes and future expeditions!"

Works great

"Used on my most recent trip worked better than my petzl pair."

Perfect fit Lowa 6000RD

"Perfect fit on my Lowa boots, couldn't be happier with the performance on my summit of Mt Washington last week. Thank you for making an outstanding product."

Tiger

"Super great Crampons so far! I REALLY REALLY wish they came with the WIDE toe bails. Neither size they sent fit one of my mountaineering specific boots, so I had to buy the wide toe bails. Which cost like $40 per foot. So that basically increased their price pretty significantly. Other than that, haven’t had any problems yet!"

Fully auto

"Got the fully automatic versions of these and they do very well. They are well suited for long days of travel in tough terrain. My one gripe as of now is that the did not come with the wide toe bail. I had to buy them separate and they were expensive. I think they should be a cheap add-on option at checkout at worst. But getting them free with them would be nice. Maybe being able to pick which 2 you want would be good."

Solid, dependable crampons that pair perfectly with overboots

"I’ve been really happy with these crampons. They’re solid, dependable, and do exactly what they’re supposed to do without any fuss. I chose this version specifically because I’ll be using them with overboots, and the front binding design works much better in that setup than a toe wire. They feel secure underfoot, adjust easily, and inspire confidence on firm snow and steeper terrain. Overall, they’re a well-built, no-nonsense piece of gear that I trust in consequential conditions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these — and honestly, you can’t go wrong with Black Diamond crampons."

Fantastic crampons that crunch through snow and ice

"These crampons were easy to adjust for my boots and they feel and look really well made and durable. They held up well both mountaineering and casual ice climbing."

"Great multi purpose crampons."

Enduring Design and Value

"On my second pair of Sabretooth Crampons now. Why two pairs? Well simply put, my original design carbon steel Sabretooths will simply not wear out or rust away. They are still going strong after decades of solid use. But I do love new gear :). . . . and decided to go with the stainless steel "newer" version (well they have been out for a decade as well now). Not disappointed! The same quality, same focus on design, as my original pair. They fit great on all my boots, they don't ball up, they go on easy without me having to perform yoga moves. Given that my carbon ones have lasted so long. . . with the great Black Diamond designs, and quality build. . . I suspect these Stainless steel ones are going to outlive me by a few decades!"

Easy on and off

"Once they are properly adjusted, they are easy to put on and take off. Im new to mountaineering and this is my first pair of crampons. I use them with LaSportiva Evo Cube mountaineering boots and they fit pretty well. I still haven’t figured out how to get them adjusted perfectly, so the boot heels don’t sit snugly against the rear heel guides and are not completely straight in the crampons, but they stay on. I have only used them for three climbs, and nothing over about 50 degrees. As expected, they have good grip on ice and crusty snow."
