Rated 5 out of 5 by from Toasty Warm! Spring in the High Desert of Central Oregon can be quite cold-20 degree mornings! The Patrol Gloves have performed well in the chilly conditions of spring and kept my fingers toasty warm. I'm looking forward to testing them out during our winter. I expect they'll do it well.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seems to Run Small I'm always a size L in gloves, and bought Patrol Gloves in L. I find that they are very tight, too tight for example to use a glove liner. Perhaps as a result I have not found them to be warm enough for multiple hours below 15 degrees.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seem to be well-made gloves, and they are warm. I like the gloves, but I wish they had a smaller velcro enclosure (like Hestra gloves) around the wrist area. These bulky wrist sleeves interfere with the cuffs of my patrol jacket. I prefer to have the gloves go under my jacket sleeves in the wrist area.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality has degraded from previous versions I have a pair of Patrols from 2013 that are finally starting to pack out and have holes develop. I ordered a new pair and was pretty disappointed when they arrived. The palm patch is now gone (gloves will wear out quicker), the zippered heater pack compartment on the back is gone, the cuff is tighter (in a bad way), the fabric is no longer Gore-Tex but a BD knock-off and the price has gone up! Disappointing as it was a great glove. The search continues for a do it all ski glove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well made Excellent quality of 'construction', and the materials seem to be top quality. I like that the gloves aren't black; the tan leather makes them easier to find in a bag (or back seat) filled with winter gear. I bought 2XL, which were barely large enough for my big hands. I wish BD would offer 3XL gloves for giant customers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Gloves not warm I did a lot of web searching (and soul searching) before ordering these Patrol gloves. I selected them because of the promised warmth, but had some concerns based upon a few negative reviews. Well, after having worn them several days in varying conditions and temps ranging 15-30deg, I can say without a doubt that these are the most overpriced and under-performing gloves that I've ever bought. Wearing them while skiing Aspen, Snowmass, Revelstoke and Mammoth brought me to the same repeated conclusion: the fingers and thumbs are not warm, while the excess and tight insulation on back of hand is too warm. End result....unable to keep fingers warm without assistance of handwarmer packets, and cant use packets because glove is too tight again hand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wrist straps It's unfortunate that these gloves don't have attached wrist straps. Often times I need to take my gloves off for just a moment and would prefer not dropping them in the snow or off the lift. I stitched on straps from an old pair of Solomon gloves which made functionality much better.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don’t hold up Warm, cozy gloves, but they just haven’t held up to patrolling. In under 4 weeks I’ve got holes and the leather feels worn through in many places. Back to the search for a warm work glove.
