Rated 3 de 5 de DanS par Not ideal for canyoneering I purchased this cord for canyoneering as a pull cord. I was unfortunately unable to get information from BD on sheath or core material, but I suspect it's got a fair bit of nylon, because it almost doubles in weight when wet. The elasticity is minimal, and the hand is very good (not too soft but definitely not stiff). The black color is annoying, as I usually like to use a beal rope marker (black) to mark my rope's middle mark. However, if you don't intend to cut it, it does come with a very stiff, yellow middle mark. For dry activities, this rope would be ideal, but it just soaks up too much water to work in wet canyons.

Rated 3 de 5 de DBstmbt par pliable I haven't used it yet in the field, but is seems flexible to easily accommodate adding knots for a tag line

Rated 4 de 5 de Nate par Rap Cord Used this as a tag line for a month long trip in Cochamó, Chile. Rappelled about 30-40 pitches on this rope and a 9.7 line. Prone to being tangled and very soft and bendy. On the first day of use it was core shot near the end from hauling the pack. By the end of the trip it was really worn, covered in fuzzies. Best used as a tag line and rapping in emergencies. If you are planning on rapping the route, bring a thicker and stiffer cord.

Rated 4 de 5 de drifter136 par Great Tag Line I'll be candid, this is my first tag line, but chose this BD one as it was the least expensive one I could find and it was better and cheaper than the alternative of grabbing some line off of a spool from MEC. It has a great handle and it did not get tangled at all, which I hear is the issue with pulling some line off of a spool or if you get one that is narrower. It is a bit larger than what I thought it would be, but we didn't notice it in the pack when we lugged it up medium sized walls in Yosemite. It helped us double up rappels and get down climbs more quickly than otherwise.
