Tons of room and easily accessible

"Crag 40 has tons of room for trad gear, helmet, a couple layers and snack no problem. Or enough room for a small family's gear for an afternoon of top roping. Only thing, if I had to find a flaw would be shoulder strips have little to no padding. That said though, this does not present itself like a haul bag, so the lighter weight shoulder straps and material are working great."

Durable and Comfortable

"I've been using a Creek 50 for years but wanted something that was more friendly to checked baggage for destination climbing flight trips. The Crag 40 is perfect. It's built well and doesn't have a lot of extra complexity but has just enough zipper pockets and thoughtful design. I've carried 30+ pounds comfortably, even in this relatively small pack."

Packs flat

"I chose the Crag 40 over other options because I needed a mid-capacity crag bag that I could pack inside my luggage. It flattens down fairly thin, since there's not a lot of extra organization or padding. The optimized design works well on short-to-moderate approaches."

Great crag pack. Comfortable to

"Great crag pack. Comfortable to wear and holds all the essentials. The material is durable. It is easy to get into with the large side zipper. I do wish the outside zipper pocket was more accessible. When the pack is full it is very hard to get in and out of this pocket. The inside zipper pocket us pretty useless since you can't access it with the pack being full."

Amazing Climbing Pack

"Whether you are new to climbing or a seasoned climber the Crag 40 backpack should be an essential pack of your gear. Large enough to hold all of your climbing essential. Great side zipper feature that allows you to open up the pack from the side as well as a draw string top opening. Durable fabric to withstand the outdoors. Would highly recommend this pack."

Awesome Crag Bag

"I love it! All the right features. Very comfortable and room enough for my trad rack, draws, harness, two pairs of shoes, a jacket, helmet, and lunch. The rope secures easily when looped over the top. I do wish there were some straps on the outside to hold a stick clip."

Packs gear, rope, helmet etc.

"Packs gear, rope, helmet etc. could use some rope straps on the outside and wish there was a couple more external pockets but overall great pack. 5’6” and use the s/m size."

Nearly perfect

"I'm loving it. It's enjoyable to use, surprisingly comfortable (I have shoulder and neck issues), and it looks good too!"
