Rated 3 de 5 de Helloimfrenchie par Overall Great, One Thing To Note Comfy, size right, fades slowly (not a big whoop) but I have to re-sew my pockets so I can actually use them at least once every couple months. Regular use, no abuse, just simply phone in and out and car keys absolutely destroy the pockets*** If you don’t know how to sew, would definitely recommend something else

Rated 2 de 5 de Skier par Comfy but poor quality Have two pairs and love the stretch but quality is very poor. Both pairs pockets have torn with nothing but some change in them. Colour fades very quickly. Will not be buying another pair until BD move their production elsewhere.

Rated 4 de 5 de Georgiamike par Almost perfect These are great jeans. They are comfy, stretchy, and good looking. So far they seem like they will be pretty durable too. I now have 4 pair and my only gripe is that though they are all the same numerical size, they tend to vary in length by as much as an inch and one pair is undoubtedly tighter in the waist. This is not a huge deal but for the price they should be more consistent imo.

Rated 2 de 5 de Luke Nomad par Love these but the pockets keep ripping! Love the fit and feel. But I’ve had two pair where the pockets rip out. I’ve seen from other reviews so I know I’m not the only one. Fix this and I’ll purchase again.

Rated 4 de 5 de YYCReviewer par Decent Quality Pant - Great Quality Customer Care Short Version: Pros: Super Stretchy, Incredibly comfortable, great waist and upper leg fit, comes in a 30' inseam for us shorties, fits well under a harness, INCREDIBLE customer care. Cons: Not nearly as durable advertised, lower leg fits like a boot cut (can barely see my toes while working delicate slab), expensive. Recommend: Yes and No - case by case. Full Review: I bought a couple of pairs of these after my Levi's with dyneema finally bit the dust. These promised to be the next pair of jeans that would last me years while providing an unrivalled fit and comfort. I started with one pair (I'm short, so I was thrilled to see a 30' inseam) to get a quick test drive before ordering more, as they are quite pricey. After the fist pair came in and I had a couple bouldering sessions, I was astounded by the available range of motion and comfort of the jeans. They breathe quite well in high output activities, and are just wicked comfy. Unfortunately, the cut of the jean (the V11 fit) is basically an old man's boot cut - it is not stylish unless you're a 40 year old dad. Normally, I don't particularly care, (because, though I'm not that, I just don't care as much about style as functionality) but with these jeans, the flare around the calf to the bottom of the foot is so significant that if you have small feet like me, and size down your climbing shoes (I wear a Scarpa sized 39), you can get into stances where seeing your feet on micro holds is basically impossible! Again, normally this wouldn't be an issue, as I would just roll up my pants and call it good - but these are SO wide in the calf, that you basically have to roll the jeans up to your knee (to be clear, I have large calfs from running) before it will lock in, which sacrifices mobility. Despite this lower leg fit, the upper leg, butt, and waist fit me absolutely perfectly. I figured that the problem seemed minor in the grand scheme and quickly ordered a couple more pairs. These became my daily drivers - I wear jeans hard, and they're pretty much all I wear. I took them to the gym over the winter for indoor rope and boulder sessions, and wore them most days while commuting around doing daily life. After just over a month, the initial pair was starting to show some sings of serious wear in the crotch. The other two, which arrived a couple of weeks later, still looked okay. It was about two months into using the jeans that I noticed that a hole had formed in the front left pocket, and and about a week after that that a matching one appeared in the opposite side. Shortly there after, I completely wore a hole through the crotch of the jeans, and was down to two pairs. In essentially the exact same time period the same signs started to show. So, for the cost of the jeans I was a little miffed. This is where I stand by ordering BD gear, and by BD as a company in general. I reached out to customer support, and they advised me that this wear and tear is not expected and they got me sorted out. Incredible care, and incredible service. Truly the reason why I use so much BD gear is because of how good they are to people who use their stuff. So, with a fresh pair coming my way, I figured that this would be it - durability problems would be cast aside and I'd be happily reaching my feet to my chin in these jeans for months and years to come. Unfortunately, I think the jeans just are not as durable as I expected. I got a couple months out of the new pair before serious pilling in the crotch started. So, in the end, I will have worn out four pairs of these jeans in about a year. Not bad - but not great considering the price and lower leg fit. I'm torn about buying more pairs. On one hand, they're the most comfortable and stretchy pair of jeans I've ever encountered. On they other hand, they're expensive and don't hold up over many months of wear. I will mention here that the durability seems only to be lacking in the crotch, and pockets. I think some re-enforcements in specific areas could be an easy fix. If they were to be able to fix these durability issues, and reduce the knee to ankle flair significantly, these pants would be literally perfect. Couple a perfect product with BD's impressive commitment to customer satisfaction and you'd have a heck of a deal. So I guess, bottom line, do I recommend these pants? Depends on your situation. If you're living in your van and climbing most days, or live an active lifestyle in the city and get to the gym/craig frequently and will be using a few of these pairs of pants as your daily drivers - then no, I think you could probably find a pant with similar durability for cheaper. They may not perform as well in terms of stretch, but most other climbing pants provide a more tapered knee to ankle fit, so at least you'll get some style, save a few dollars, and be able to buy an extra pair to help you put off laundry for another week. If you're not climbing frequently, have larger feet, rotate through more than 3-4 pairs of pants a week, prefer boot cut jeans, have a few extra dollars, or just want something that will allow you to put your foot behind your head as you climb a wall - then yes. Plus you get the added peace of mind that you have the BD team behind you, so if something goes wrong you're covered. These pants have a lot going for them and are so close to being perfect.

Rated 1 de 5 de nojro par Poor quality I bought these pants hoping for their durability. I didn't even use them for climbing. Only everyday wear. After 2 months, pockets have ripped open, you can't even fix them yourself. I strongly advise against buying them. They cost three times ordinary jeans and fell apart after a few months. Climbing pants? Good joke. They are not even suitable for everyday wear, unless you want to buy new ones every month!

Rated 1 de 5 de harpstar par Not Remotely Slim Fit These pants do not fit as advertised. They're baggy enough that it doesn't really matter that they stretch, because you'll never reach the end of their ROM. Very disappointing. I wear a 36x34, and have had this experience with most of BDs clothing, in the larger sizes they are just not slim enough to fit tall/lanky folks.

Rated 5 de 5 de poweroffour par Rugged, Comfortable, Stretchy, Good Looking These are my new favorite pants to wear to the office AND outdoors. They are indeed as tough as advertised. I wantonly abuse them outdoors, wash them, and they always look just the same. Rather amazing. And it's really fun to bend, kneel etc. in total comfort.
