Traverse Pro Ski Poles wurde bewertet mit 4.3 von 5 von 8.
Rated 4 von 5 von aus solid poles These are solid poles. The "pro" flip lock is bomber and well designed, and I prefer the aluminum construction over the lighter weight carbon fiber options for durability. I've had no complaints w/ the ring choke-up feature; it works fine for me, whether w/ big mitts on or light gloves. - Straps: If you're skiing inbounds and you like straps on, the breakaway feature is potentially a plus, but if you're using these poles exclusively for backcountry, they're not necessary because you need to be able to discard your poles immediately if you're caught in an accelerating slide. So why ski with the straps on in the first place? I only find straps useful for polling hard and/or skating. Otherwise, they're annoying. - A main complaint--the tops of the handles: I wish the surface were less rounded and flatter like a hammer; it would be much more useful that way. Maybe it's due to the breakaway mechanism surface on the tops, but I find the rounded top slips when pushing binding toe pieces open to release boots etc, and it also slips and feels sloppy when using them to punch the toe pieces open and closed to get snow out. I wish it felt more precise like the head of a hammer when using it for stuff like this. I also wish the edges around the top of the handles were longer and straighter (again, less curvature), for better scraping when clearing snow and ice off top sheets while skinning. As is, it's not the most effective for that. Otherwise, the pole handles do everything I've wanted--e.g. the "nose" does well for flipping heel risers up and down etc. Powder baskets: they get the job done, like they're supposed to. As for getting them on--just use some elbow grease. - Overall, great pole, bomber construction, and light enough for me. I just wish the handle tops were better for hammering/punching and scraping.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus daily driver I've been using the traverse and now traverse pro for a while now. They are a great all around product that stands up the demands of the back county and a the abuse of lots (hundreds) of inbounds days. I went with the pro this time because i usually cut my straps off and was wondering what the rip away straps would feel like. So far I can't tell if I'm going to end up cutting the straps anyways but I've been kinda enjoying playing with them again and not worrying about them ripping my shoulder out of socket when I wreck (and ohh buddy if theres one thing in skiing I'm good at its full send to full wreck). I don't really like the tiny rattle coming from the handle (the break away mechanism) but it mostly doesn't bother me. I also am unsure if I prefer the single ring for added grip as opposed to the traverse with the longer rubber grip. I might end up putting some sort of wrap on it. Other than those personal preferences, the flick lock pro does seem to be a little more robust and the I've been super stoked on these as a daily driver. I'm only going 4 out of 5 because I'm always of the opinion that there has to be some sort of room for improvement. But that's what the guys at BD are good at.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus easy to use. solid only used couple of times but so far meets the quality and ingenuity and practicality associated with BD

Rated 3 von 5 von aus Light but slippery It is a nice pole but removing the lower grip part from the older design is not a good idea. It is difficult to grip the lower part of the when traversing. It is very slippery and you can only rely on the small aluminum ring put there. Maybe the name shouldn't be traverse as it is not really ideal for traversing. Usual uphill and downhill usages are fine.

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Good Poles These are better than my old BD poles in that they have a pronounced hook on the end of the handle to manipulate binding and boot levers. However, the hard, slippery material that the handle is made of negates the improved hook, as it it hard to get any traction on any lever, especially ones that need to be pushed, which my old poles could do fairly well.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Always consistent One thing I can always count on with Black Diamond is consistency and quality. Doesn’t matter whether it’s ski poles or clothing alway a high level attention to detail.

Rated 5 von 5 von aus Awesome Lightweight Poles. Genuinely impressed with these. I am a pretty big guy and these poles held up like a champ. The flip lock stayed locked, and did not slip at all for me. They are lightweight, but can take a beating on long tours. I like the flip lock to remove the polestraps for touring. The only con I can think off is the baskets spin pretty easily making it hard to flip risers on bindings. (Easily fixed with rubber cement)

Rated 4 von 5 von aus Great adjustable poles The poles themselves are great but the package insert explaining how to attach the cages is terrible. The cages kept falling off until I finally managed to use a lot of force and got them attached. Hopefully they are finally secured.
