Live Ski Repeat

Pursuit Hoody - Men's - Past Season is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great resort ski jacket Designed for layering ski clothes, this is a very warm jacket and keeps the wind/snow off my mind as I cruise down the mountainside. Limited pockets (2 hands and chest zipper), but that just reminds you that you don't need 100+ things to have a good ski day. Cut the weight and hit the slopes! really like the burgundy color. I ordered the large (6'2", 190) and has just enough space for those layers I mentioned. Overall terrific ski jacket and would buy again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not enough pockets. Ugly colors. Just one chest pocket? Not enough. By contrast, an Obermeyer jacket has 4 chest pockets plus 2 handwarmer pockets, for a total of 6 outer pockets. I need to store my camera, 2-way radio, handkerchief, chapstick, skigee, trail map, a small screwdriver set, a whistle, a compass, a cable-lock, a facemask (for those really cold days), a sandwich (for lunch), an energy bar, and a few more odds and ends. There are all muddy. No pure colors available, such as bright red, bright blue, bright yellow. Also, the colors are boring, with no accent colors. A combination of bright blue and bright yellow would be great. Or maybe bright red and a contrasting black.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizing Purchased this the day before Black Friday and got a sweet deal. I am 6'5 with a long torso and purchaes an XL and found it to be a much larger fitting jacket than I expected in overall length, arms length and just overall. I would suggest sizing down if possible. If it wasn't for the great price I would have returned it, but the large was sold out. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this jacket! Bought this to use specifically as a in bounds ski jacket. I have already skied 25 days in it this winter and it is performing perfectly. I have used it on wet days and super cold days and have always stayed warm and dry! The fit is on the roomy side for a medium. The hood works great over my helmet. All of my BD clothing has held up well with lots of use and I have no doubt this jacket is built to withstand many seasons of use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from First BD product I have been disappointed in I bought this for downhill skiing and maybe back country skiing. I am a long time BD customer for all my various kits and this is the first product that failed on me. It runs large and they don't make an extra small so order down a size and it still might be baggy which for resort skiing is not a bad deal. The outside fabric is surprisingly light and flexible but it tears very easily. Case in point, on my first wear it tore. I have no idea how or when during the first wear but when I took it off there was a tear in the fabric. I would not use this jacket for backcountry because it is more baggy and the insulation would make it a furnace on the ascent if you wore it and it would take up a bit of space if you only wanted it for the summit and the ski down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great hill jacket for cold days This jacket has been great for my local ski hill on cold and windy days. Although the sizing runs big.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It fits me The sleeves are long enough for me (this is usually a problem). The cut of the jacket is for someone that doesn't have a large gut, so there isn't a lot of excess material flopping around. (I'm 6'2" 180 lb, I purchased size large). The hood fits my XL head but no way it would fit over my helmet, but improbably would if you have a normal size head. It sheds snow well but I haven't had it in rain. It is very comfortable on me. I use it mainly skiing lifts and in my pack in the backcountry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great materials and design I've only had this jacket for the beginning of the 2019-2020 season, but so far it's excelled. It was raining in the Sierras at 6,000', but snowing at 8,000'. The rain just shrugged off, and the snow slid off the material. Interestingly, the synthetic insulation is very warm, so fewer layers were needed. The design is easy to move and ski in, and the powder skirt kept all the warmth in. This has become my go-to jacket as it's so versatile.
