Rated 5 out of 5 by Brayden1904 from Excellent Design for Splitboarding Very light weight, and compact. Straps and handles allows a good grip while using all sorts of glove types. The folding system is robust, however the button used to collapse the pole is challenging to operate in heavy gloves/mittens. Baskets attach easily, by screwing onto a sturdy hardened rubber/plastic ‘threading’. Overall, a great touring pole that have worked for me in a variety of ski conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Calef from Ideal for paragliding! I was looking for a light hiking pole for snow and dirt that I could fold super small to stash in the back of the paraglider harness. My old 3 piece traverse poles were just too long to go comfortably in the PG harness, but these fit right in there! I am sure they would also work well for split boarding. Only used them 2 times so far, but they work perfectly! I like that they are super light. And I also really like that when they are compacted, the basket holds it all organized and the sharp tip is tucked away, so they don't puncture your gear.

Rated 3 out of 5 by VonMillieandCo from Very compact, can’t take much wear/tear I bought some of these poles last spring (2019), for touring. They are ideal for splitboarding because they fit in my pack when compacted. However the button to engage the pole is already stiff, and when water gets in the area above the button it freezes up. This happened to me on the hill one day, and made for a miserable out. I took them in to the BD store and was essentially told to deal with it. Bummer response for such and expensive pole. I’ll probably go with a different pole in the future.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brad from Best splitboard pole These are the best poles I've used for splitboarding. Fold up quickly and super compact, minimal ice jamming (easy button to hammer on the edge of the board to release if it does jam), super light. Fit in my avi pack no problem for a tight descent kit. Smart design feature including lower grip and baskets. Good gear investment for a guy that doesn't have much to invest in gear!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SkiCoach from Light and stiff Originally I purchased the Carbon Compact-Z Trekking poles for skiing. This was a big mistake on my part. They are not stiff enough, and (I'm sorry) but the "Z" clamping system slips. The Carbon Compactor fixed length Ski Poles were the perfect replacement. They fold up small enough to fit into my coaching pack (for when we are training), then I can pull them out for our free skiing sessions. Grip is good and wrist strap works well. Only wish non-powder baskets were included, so I wouldn't have to butcher the ones that came with the poles.
