With support from Black Diamond, this year’s tour features three heart-stopping world-premiere films guaranteed to get your palms sweaty. From Babsi and Jacopo going big on Pakistan’s Nameless Tower in “Burning the Flame,” to SebBouin’s face-off with one of the world’s hardest routes in “DNA,” Reel Rock 17 is packed with BD athletes doing what they do best … SENDING. Also, not to be missed is “Climbing Resistance,” a film documenting how a group of climbers find community in a conflict-torn Palestine. 

Two years in the making, this film captures BD athlete Babsi Zangerl and BD ambassador Jacopo Larcher’s attempt to free climb The Nameless Tower in Pakistan. Arguably one of the most successful big wall free climbing teams in the world, this is an inside look into the process of taking years of skills learned on El Cap and applying them in the rugged alpine.
