Climb Shoe Comparison
Shadow Climbing Shoes est évalué de 5 de 30.
Rated 5 de 5 de Emil4221 par Excellent bouldering and edging shoes I bought the shoes 5 months ago, when I was looking for a pair of aggressive shoes, that were good for bouldering and moves like heel- and toe hooking. The shoes deliver and even edge well on vertical routes, where I've done my first two 7a/5.11d in them. I use US 11.5 street shoes and bought the Shadows in the same size. I had to use plastic bags to slip in them for the first 4 sessions, where it felt quite painful to edge and toe-hook in them. However they broke in after a month and have felt like the perfect size for me ever since. The fabric of the shoe is soft to the skin and gets rid of perspiration effectively. They don't smell like the climbing shoes that I have had in the past.

Rated 4 de 5 de Gmoney par Sizing normal Sizing / "brand-size variance" was comparable to all the other aggressive shoes I've worn---I did not experience the wildly off-target sizing that a lot of people mentioned.

Rated 4 de 5 de LogiB par Good feeling They were great just used a pair and grew out of them however you should get a whole size up that is what i found as if you get your size they will be too tight but i know that some climbers like it that way it is just that it hurts me if i ware the size I normally get.

Rated 3 de 5 de TheDude par Broken on 3rd session I was stoked to get these shoes in. I love the design of the heel, the stiffness morning the toe box with the softness and sensitivity combination to make these my favorite shoes. Unfortunately I had the same problem as everyone else, the synthetic material ripped today on my left shoe. I noticed it felt a little more broken in, or looser than my right shoe. I will add photos this weekend to show exactly where they ripped. I ordered the LV a full size up from these to see if that will stop the problem. It’s unfortunate because these shoes really have some potential.

Rated 4 de 5 de Rocko Blvck par Great sensibility I already used two pair of this great show but actually it has one fatal issue. the heel hook loses their tension after a few months of use, I hope Black Diamond fix this cause it is a great shoe. For me its the best on the market!

Rated 4 de 5 de Eddysamson par Long lasting I got these in May or June 2018 as part of a BD video I was in. I like almost everything about the shoe, but I gotta dock a point for the toe. The description says its for super steep hard overhang type climbing. I find that the toe is awful for overhang feet which is ironic. If you look closely at the toe you'll notice it slopes up towards the top (kinda like the opposite of the downturned hook you want on overhang) making it very hard to dig in to small feet on overhang. Outside of that I am pretty impressed with the shoe, especially its longevity. I am still using it now 1.5 years later. Its been my gym shoe for at least half that time. I don't use it much outside anymore. But theyve got some serious hours into them with no visible wear other than the toe rubber. They heel hook + toe hook very well and they climb almost everything inside well.

Rated 5 de 5 de Islandclimber par My current sending shoes I got The shadow half a size up because i got a low arch( wide feet). They fit like a glove, super flexible and the rubber is really sticky specially for the toe hooks. The only downside is that they are weak on the heel hooks or too good because they come out of my foot leaving my heel in the open.

Rated 3 de 5 de Anonyme par Awesome shoe. Unfortunate material Ive been rockin the bd shadows for about a month now, and they are definitely the best shoes ive ever had. The rubber is super sticky both on plastic and real rock, they are also super soft which i really dig, and they are pretty comfortable as far as aggressive shoes go. When i first got them they were super hard to get on and really painful but in about 4 or 5 sessions they were broken in and good to go. I try to climb as much as i can around 3-5 days a week and after about 2 weeks i noticed they were easier to put on and getting kind of loose in the heel. So i started to tighten the ankle strap down a little more and the problem was solved. A few days later i noticed there was a tare starting to the left of the left pull tab. I kept my eye on it and it started getting worse and worse every day. When it got to the tension band i figured it would stop and that would be the end of it. Unfortunately it wasnt and they are still ripping into the shoe. I really like these shoes and hope this is just a first generation bd shoe hiccup, but as of right now i wouldnt recommend these to anyone. At least not yet. Hope you guys can work out the kinks.
