Compact, lightweight, and easy to untie, this is the next stage in the evolution of cordelette engineering.

The Infinity Cord is constructed by taking dynex threads and looping them around, creating a continuous loop that requires no stitching or bar tacking to finish. The wound dynex filament core is finished with a dynex/nylon blend sheath, making it extremely durable and abrasion resistant. It should be noted that the strength of this cord lies in its infinity construction, so it shouldn’t be cut and re-tied.

Solid, lightweight, but not exactly what I was expecting

"I was looking for a lightweight sling to use as a cordelette and found this, expecting it to be continuous and seamless (I based this on the name) similar to the BD solution harness's belay loop. It doesn't have a bar tack but it does have this sheath over where it looks like the cord was spliced back into itself to make it continuous. This is functionally similar to a bar tack but much more flexible (and I can even work it into knots), I was just expecting it to be near impossible to tell where the splice was like it is with the solution harness. Still an amazing sling through and I've been using it for quad anchors trad climbing and I'm very happy with it. It's also somehow both inelastic in how it can hold it's shape but still really malleable/workable like clay which is strange to me but super neat. It's much lighter than my old 7mm cordelette and plenty strong and durable, showing no signs of wear after my usage so far over the last month. I highly recommend it but if they somehow removed the seam/sheath it would be perfect"

Incredible piece of gear

"I used my 240cm Infinity Cord to build a trad anchor in Joshua Tree over the weekend. It was so beautifully constructed that even another party asked if they could use it and they told me it looked “super bomber”. After the climb, all knots came out easy and it racks away on my harness nice and small. Love it. Please make these in a rabbit runner/alpine runner style!"

Game changing

"BD is changing the game - developing lighter and stronger soft materials to add to a growing quiver of ever innovative climbing equipment - improving the odds of success where it really matters - in the alpine arena"

This thing is awesome! Super

"This thing is awesome! Super light weight and it has a bit of memory built in so it’s easy to make knots with"

Best anchor sling.

"This anchor sling is great. It's super lightweight, easy to untie, and there's no bar tag. Can also double as a prusik if needed."

Stiff like wire with an extra-stiff joint

"I was expecting this to feel somewhat similar to a dynex/dyneema sling, but it is incredibly stiff. It feels more like wire than cord. You can hold it two feet from an "end" and stick it straight out parallel to the ground and it mostly holds its shape. (Photo attached. ) Maybe it will loosen up with time and use? Also, it claims to be "a continuous loop that requires no stitching or bar tacking", but there's a label fully enclosing the cord for about two inches and it's clearly thicker under about half of that label. It's much, much, stiffer even than the rest of it, to the point that it seems like a 1cm radius is as tight a bend as it will allow there, while the rest of the cord is more like a 1mm radius. Maybe it's just where the sheath is joined? But I was hoping for something that was nearly 100% consistent through the whole loop and I didn't need to worry about stiff areas. Maybe my expectations were unrealistic. (I got all three sizes and this review applies to all of them. )"

Awesome cord

"Super happy with the new infinity cord. Knots well and very easy to untie. Will likely buy more in the future."

Game changer!

"The Infinity cord is an excellent new tool for building anchors. Compact, lightweight, and strong, these are excellent for building and equalizing anchors."

Todd S. (5/5)

Super thin, a little stiff, and a breeze to untie.

"Can take a little getting used to the relative stiffness compared to other slings out there, but once you do, this thing is fantastic!"

Patrick O. (5/5)

So lightweight and compact!

"So lightweight and compact!"
