Descriptions

Rated 1 de 5 de par Great glove, way too thin leather I loved these gloves. On the other hand when I got them I felt the leather was thin and hoped they would still last. I've used them only for downhill skiing maybe 30 half days and they are wearing out. I've had cheaper leather gloves that have lasted 3 seasons and they are in great shape.

Rated 2 de 5 de par Nice Looking gloves. Don’t hold up to hard wear Bought these a few months ago for a go to work horse. The leather is incredibly soft ...which is nice for dexterity...but it’s thin and rips really easily. If you’re looking for a hard working glove...this might not be the glove for you.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Black Diamond Warranty is Amazing I bought these gloves for my ski season this year, generally put 25+ days in the Canadian Rockies, mostly resort with some back country and heli. A few observations, I think that -17/18 C rating is a bit of an exaggeration. Generally I found these gloves are good to about -12 C but that is generally a personal preference and maybe I am just being a bit of snowflake. In terms of the marshmallow effect that some others have commented on, I have experienced this, but I believe it is because water moves through the leather layer but is stopped by the Goretex insert from entering the glove. However in the process the insert swells up in the process. (My buddies were having a good laugh as I was wringing my gloves out each time we got on the helicopter, but water never made it through the goretex layer and I think you can prevent this with regular Nikwax treatments) The goat leather used on these gloves is pretty soft and you will have to be very careful around ski edges. Mine developed holes very easily, however I gave this glove a five star rating as BD warranty was absolutely amazing to work with. Overall I have never had a glove with better articulation, but just be careful with them.

Rated 5 de 5 de par tried and true Been using these for three seasons touring. Good dexterity, good warmth in skin track, dry well. No complaints.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Warm and good looking! I use this glove on the coldest days of the year. These things are really warm and have always kept me warm and dry on those 5-6 days a year where it is just frigid. Nix wax comes with and is awesome for waterproofing. I recommend this glove to all of you.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Great fit! The fit guide showed my hand to be between medium and large. Purchased a large so I could wear liner gloves inside and the fit is perfect. No pinch points and super comfortable, not to mention really warm.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Sweet gloves Gloves are pretty awesome. Another reviewer wrote about them being "marshmallowy." I know what they mean, however, I like the gloves. They are comfy and I'm glad for the days I get to wear them. The leather is soft and pliable. Gloves are warm but, to be fair, not super warm. They wear like work gloves and if it is a crazy cold day I'm going to wear my mittens anyway. They would benefit from bigger cuffs because it is about impossible to keep the snow out -- depending on what you are doing that could matter.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Warm and light weight I've been using the Guide gloves for years, and after testing the Legend I'd recommend sticking with the Guide. I wanted to try the lighter weight Legend glove to see if the dexterity was noticeably better and if it still offered adequate warmth. The Legend gloves do both, the dexterity is slightly better and they are plenty warm. However, the downsides for me are the fleece interior lining and the short cuff. The fleece lining pulls out from it's natural position and bunches up making it slow to align the next time you put it on. Also the longer cuff, on the guide and others, in my opinion is much easier to slide on and create a solid snow barrier quickly.
